About The iPad Piano Studio: Keys to Unlocking the Power of Apps.

Leila has used tech-savvy tools to enhance her teaching since her studio opened in 1990. The iPad has revolutionized her lab-assisted instruction along with her classically trained teaching style. The book is a testament of her infatuation with the variety of apps and learning tools of the iPad and the need to share her "love" with others.

The user-friendly guide steps through general tips on how to use the iPad, highlights favorite apps and provides detailed examples on how apps can be integrated within every lesson.

The dozen chapters are intended for studio teachers who:

• Recognize the need to reach the mobile generation via today's technology
• See the need to set their studio apart by creating a dynamic learning environment
• Have found the iPad too irresistible but need some guidance
• Wish to integrate technology into daily lessons.

Yes, it’s called the iPad PIANO Studio, but teachers of other instruments will find the book beneficial as well. From those who are still contemplating the purchase of an iPad to those considered “veteran” iPad owners, there’s something for everyone. The chapters are concise with striking graphics and a fresh format so that information can be gathered quickly.

Both the hardcopy and the digital edition include Quick Response (QR) codes. Once scanned, the codes will take readers to a mobile site featuring a growing library of associated videos and updated blog posts.

The fusion of physical, digital and online experiences provides an exclusive hybrid approach that combines a continual stream of the latest information, ideas and insight to inspire any studio.
